Text to include inside Greeting Cards - examples
I was recently asked what text should be included inside a Greeting Card:
The inside text of a greeting card depends on the occasion and the possible relationship the customer has with the intended recipient. Here are some templates and examples to get you started:
Birthdays:
- General: "Happy Birthday! Wishing you a day filled with joy, laughter, and everything wonderful."
- Funny: "Another year older? Don't worry, they can't put a price tag on good looks (like mine) or experience (like yours). Happy Birthday!"
- For a friend: "Thinking of you on your birthday and all the fun times we've shared. Here's to many more! Happy Birthday!"
- For a child: "Happy Birthday! May your day be filled with presents, cake, and all your favorite things!"
Holidays:
- General (for holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa): "Wishing you a holiday season filled with warmth, joy, and peace. Happy Holidays!"
- Specific (for Thanksgiving): "Happy Thanksgiving! I'm so grateful for your friendship/love. Sending you warm wishes for a delicious and happy day."
Sympathy:
- General: "Thinking of you during this difficult time. Sending you my heartfelt condolences."
- More personal: "I was so sorry to hear about [loss]. [Name of deceased] was a wonderful person and will be deeply missed."
Congratulations:
- General: "Congratulations on [achievement]! So proud of you!"
- Specific (for graduation): "Congratulations on your graduation! This is such a huge accomplishment. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors."
- Specific (for wedding): "Congratulations on your wedding! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness together."
Thinking of You:
- "Just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you and sending you warm wishes."
- "I miss you! Can't wait to catch up soon."
- "Thank you for being such a wonderful friend/family member. I appreciate you more than you know."
You can also include a text template field for the customer to add a specific detail, memory, or inside joke.
