How To Use These Special Character Charts for Script Fonts on Zazzle Products

Enhance your designs on Zazzle with the elegance of special characters from script fonts. Follow these straightforward steps to seamlessly integrate unique glyphs, swashes, and ligatures into your creative work.

Step-by-Step Guide to Accessing Special Characters

  1. Open the Font Contact Sheet: Start by opening the contact sheet of the desired script font in a new window.

  2. Prepare Your Design Space: In another window, open the design you are working on.

  3. Access the Design Tool: Return to the first window with the font contact sheet, click on the 'Personalize' button, followed by 'Edit Using Design Tool.'

  4. Select Your Glyph: Within the design tool, click on the textbox that contains the glyph you wish to use.

  5. Edit the Text: Click on the 'Edit text' command on the right side of the screen, indicated by a pencil icon.

  6. Copy the Special Character: In the 'Edit text' box, you will see a narrow rectangular representation of the special character. Copy this rectangle onto your clipboard and click the 'OK' button to exit.

  7. Insert into Your Design: Go back to your design window, select a textbox, hit the 'Edit text' command, and paste the special character from your clipboard into the textbox, ensuring the corresponding font is already selected.

Important Notes:

  • Incomplete Contact Sheets: Please note that some font contact sheets may not list all glyphs, particularly those with diacritical marks.

  • Usage Restrictions: The ligatures, glyphs, and swashes provided are meant to streamline the creative process for Zazzle creators. They are not designed for purchase or resale.

With these instructions, you can now bring a touch of sophistication to your Zazzle designs by incorporating those intricate special characters that make script fonts so delightful.

You also need to know how to access the swashes for the swash fonts in Zazzle. They are in the ABC 123 and special characters format, no magic squares needed. Examples would be Mustang Brush Swash and Grunge Swash. Enter a letter, number or special character for the corresponding swash. I recommend creating your own 'hidden' store for your cheat sheets so they don't show publicly.

THIS IS FABULOUS! Thank you! I didn't even know there WERE swashes for some of these fonts, like Emeline and Just Marriage!
